JUST IN CASE you think I have not been doing anything, well, hold on to your hats...Martini has been writing up a storm.

Actually, I have some awesome things to tell you here - and a lot to do. First, I have been working on writing more in detail about Remembering Christmas. It was a big hit with everyone I spoke with who purchased a copy, as they listened and enjoyed it through the Christmas Season. Frank has a beautiful, powerful voice, filled with emotion as he sang each non traditional Christmas tune....I found it so nice that his album didn't get filled up with the same "Winter Wonderland" and "Sleigh Ride" that most artists seem compelled to do. He and Palma chose wisely, and those choices speak to the heart of the listener, for sure. Palma's contribution of 99% of the instrumentation and adding her voice, and the fact that two of the songs she penned; well - as you can imagine if you've been reading my blogs, I have much to say about it all. Frank I will give Kudos to on HIS website, and here, I will lean towards more about Palm's contribution to this super compilation.

And, that is only the beginning! As I promised, I have been researching and getting my writings together about WHAT THE HELL, NELL! I thought it best to become a bit more familiar with the actual "story" as well as the music, so I'm reading "Gold In The Hills." Then, I'll be blogging a lot about this outstanding composition.

Inthe meantime, in between writing about the aforementioned, I have also been doing a bit of notemaking about another incredibly talented Pascale vocalist, Palma's mother, Anne. It was shortly after my first bit of correspondence with Palm that I was introducted to her mom, as Anne had requested to do something nice for me, and so, she analyzed my handwriting. You see, Anne Pascale is a Graphologist, and her work is highly acclaimed. (No surprise, really...) I only know that she "pegged" me perfectly. I was a bit uncertain about having my handwriting analyzed by such a renouned graphologist - someone who really knew what they were doing, but trust me when I tell you I will forever hold on to that analysis. And I mean she was spot-on, too - no doubt about it.

Anne and Palma did a recording together, and a second "I'll Leave You The Music" CD was born. It's a wonderful grouping of Italian songs, and standards like "Blue Moon" and more fun melodies. Not wanting to spoil the fun, I'll wait until I begin my blog about it before giving any more away. Anne attended Julliard in her youth, and it's easy to see that Palm comes by her talent quite honestly! Anne was a young 83 when she and Palma recorded her album "I'll Leave You The Music." I might even tell you the story of why the CD was named "I'll Leave You The Music."

For now, suffice it to say, I've been a little busy, but honestly, no one enjoys digging into this woman's phenomenal music more than I, because for one thing - it just means I have an excuse to listen as much as I want to. So, if you see me with my ipod attached to my belt, and earbuds in, you'll know I'm probably listening to one or the other member of the Pascale family doing something they do so incredibly well......making music!

Check back for some fun new blogs coming, soon!

~Martini

Hi, My name is Tom and by way of my sister, I cam eto know Ann Pascale who was my sisters handwriting professor. I later had the pleasure of sharing a lunch date with Palma. I know that Palma has sadly passed on, but I am trying to reconnect with her mother, Ann. My sister Nancy has also passed on too, and a confluence of events lead me to this site to seek out Ann Pasale. The phone number I have for her is no longer working. Can anyone possible help me?

Thank you
